BACK OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT - OB/GYN Office

Southwest Contemporary Women's Care is fun, fast paced, and has immediate openings for qualified Full Time Medical Assistant(s) for our East Valley locations (Tempe, Ahwatukee, Gilbert). The perfect fit would be someone who can work independently, but approach their work as a team member. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a pleasant demeanor along with excellent customer service skills.

Hours of operation: 7:30am to 5pm M-Th, 7:30am to 2:30pm F.

Starting salary: Between $16 and $20 based on experience

Preferred Experience:

• Obstetrics and Gynecology knowledge
• Assisting with in-office procedures such as IUD placement/removal, Colposcopies, Pap Smears, LEEPs, Well-Women Exams
• Assisting with all facets of OB Care
• EMR: Intergy

Other Job assignments include, but are not limited to:

• Taking vitals/Rooming patients
• Patient Charting
• Prescription refills
• Facilitate surgery scheduling and referrals
• Same day scheduling
• Triage
• Communicate with front office, back office, and provider
• Provide vacation or sick coverage outside of preliminary location.
