RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer in Westlake, TX.

Summary:
The AWS Cloud Engineer will assist with cloud migration, DevOps adoption, APIs and microservices development, and Data lake - Snowflake integration while supporting an application performing billions of computations daily. They will be working with AWS cloud such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, KMS/CMK, Route 53, Lambda, EFS, and EBS. The candidate will be working with Infrastructure as Code using AWS Cloud Formation Templates. The AWS Cloud Engineer will be using Python, JavaScript, and other languages. The candidate will also use DevOps for creating CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, Veracode, and Python.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience working with AWS cloud such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, KMS/CMK, Route 53, Lambda, EFS, and EBS
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code using AWS Cloud Formation Templates
• Proven development experience using Python, JavaScript, and other languages
• Hands on experience in DevOps for creating CI/CD pipelines using GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, Veracode, and Python
• Experience designing Datadog dashboard to monitor key metrics and create alerts
• Experience with backend systems in Linux environment
• Experience developing APIs and microservices using Python, Java, or other languages
• Experience working in agile scrum teams
• Experience with Datawarehouse and database programming such as Snowflake, Snow SQL and PL/SQL is plus
• Experience with financial services industry and fund accounting knowledge is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
