Client Service Manager
The US Wealth Alternative Product QC AVP will support the business by providing a high level of operational oversight and quality reviews specifically targeted at services provided by Transfer Agents and Fund Administrators (key service providers). The QC AVP will report to the VP US Wealth Client Services and will collaborate closely with the VP of Transfer Agent Oversight within Nuveen Shareholder Services.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the development of a quality control framework designed to ensure oversight of critical outsourced functions performed by key service providers.
  • Perform targeted financial and operational reviews to mitigate key service provider errors and ensure a high level of service delivery. Specific quality control duties include but are not limited to:
  • Review and approve shareholder transaction data. This may include oversight of corrective actions as needed.
  • Review and approve data files prior to dissemination to external parties.
  • Review and approve cash movement such as payments to external parties related to distribution of certain Alternative Products.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and respond to requests for information from external and internal stakeholders including senior management and Fund Boards.
  • Ensure various policies and procedures are enforced.
  • Perform reconciliation of data with Investment affiliates and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years in Financial Services industry
Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years in Financial Services industry, preferred Alternatives Investments operational focused
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Detail orientation with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical ability including the ability to probe sensitive issues while maintaining the highest level of integrity and objectivity
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills

Base Pay Range: $84,500/yr. - $140,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
