Title: Aviation Support Lead
Location: Aurora, OR
Working Hours: As Required (Available for after-hours/weekends/holidays)
Wilson Construction Company is seeking an Aviation Support Lead based out of our location at the Aurora airport. Candidates must be able to adapt to the demands of a dynamic schedule with flexibility, strong communication skills; conducting themselves in a professional and respectful manner that personifies the values of Wilson Construction Company.
- Operations and Maintenance of airport facilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
- Manage hangar vendor relationships.
- Schedule fuel for airplanes and helicopters as needed for flight/maintenance schedule.
- Clean and organize the hangar floor.
- Ensure the hangar facilities are up to current local codes.
- Perform light facility maintenance as required.
- Ordering and supplying of hangar products including bottled water, coffee, and kitchen and bathroom supplies.
- Oversee maintenance requirements for Wilson company vehicles assigned to the Aurora hangar.
- Clean Wilson company vehicles.
- Wash and detail airplanes as needed, including bright work and deice boots.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in airport operations or maintenance.
- Maintain current First Aid, CPR, AED, Forklift and Scissor Lift training.
- Must be knowledgeable in MS Office and utilization of Iphone/Ipad.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Applicants must reside within a reasonable driving distance from the office or be willing to relocate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry the same for short distances and up and down stairs and steep inclines.
- Ability to sit in awkward positions for long periods, standing on a variety of surfaces and at differing angles, bending over, crouching and climbing up and over various equipment.
- Ability to work a variety of schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
