Lake County Auto Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Repair Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Perform diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical and electrical systems on customer vehicles

· Repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension electrical systems, etc.

· Communicate with customers to explain repairs needed and answer any questions they may have

· Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· At least 3 years of experience as an auto repair technician

· Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes

· Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret diagnostic results

· Ability to repair and replace a wide range of parts and systems

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Detail-oriented and able to keep accurate records

· Experienced in using shop software intergration

· List any ASE certifications

· Valid drivers license and ability to test drive vehicles

· U.S. Citizen or possess a current permanent resident card.
