Allegiance Staffing Jeffersonville is searching for a independent and conscientious person to prepare, sand and paint trucks that have been modified. This opening is for a truck modification company in Jeffersonville with a great work environment.

Experience is not necessary, but preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and follow directions
• Work in conjunction with paint/prep schedule and in sequence with other functional groups to assure the proper and timely completion of the unit.
• Able to meet production standards.
• Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Ability to multitask

Preferred Training and Experience:

• Previous experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry
• Previous work in an automotive paint environment.
• Previous experience working against timed job standards and a proven record of being able to completion standards.

Equipment, tools used to perform the position duties:

• Sanding Block
• Pneumatic Palm Sander

Physical Demands:

• Normal standing, walking, bending and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.
• Exposed to normal seasonal temperatures.
• Use of hand tools
• Lifting/moving up to 35 pounds

Education/Certification Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Details

• Monday- Friday
• 6am-3:30pm
• $16.50/hr+ Based on Experience
