Monarch Ford, in Exeter, CA is looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to assist our mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies for their vehicles. Previous parts department experience in an automotive dealership is preferred! Must have strong working knowledge of automotive parts. Automotive dealership experience is REQUIRED!

Automotive Parts Specialist / Counterperson Responsibilities:

· Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.

· Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.

· Complete special order part request for customers and service personnel.

· Communicate with customer on parts status.

· Work with service department to obtain needed parts and update on status.

· Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

· Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.

Automotive Parts Specialist / Counterperson Qualifications:

· Automotive Parts experience

· Automotive dealership experience is required

· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment

· Ability to start ASAP!

· Have strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.

· Detail-oriented and great communication skills

· Professional appearance a must

· Strong work ethic

· Valid driver's license
