Automotive Maintenance Technician: Ghent

Working hours: a 2-shift system or permanent night shift

Salary: up to 4890 Euro/ month, Depending on experience

Accommodation: The client pays for the first 3 months of housing

We are looking for Automotive Maintenance Technicians to join the largest car producer in East Flanders asap.

Main areas of responsibility

• You analyze and solve malfunctions on fully automated production installations: ANY technical problem (both electrical, mechanical, PLC, frequency control, motors, pumps, robots, ...)
• You optimize automated production plants in terms of production output, quality and technical reliability
• You perform preventive and corrective/curative maintenance tasks: Curative: disruptive/preventive: before the failure, take a number of installations out of service and check them in order to avoid failure
• You identify, repair or replace defective systems or components of industrial automated installations in accordance with regulations, machine specifications, documentation, etc.: The defective parts e.g. sensors, parts of installations, ...
• You will receive the necessary training and support and pass this on to your colleagues
• You will be closely involved in the introduction of new installations, processes and new car models
• You will work in a team with your fellow technicians

Requirements

• Has a technical degree, preferably a Bachelor of Energy Technology, Electromechanics, ... or 7th specialization year in electrical installation techniques, measurement and control techniques, ... with experience or equivalent by experience
• Shows an interest in automation, PLC, robotics, ...(Simens TiA, SattLine, Profinet, CamarC3G, ABB, IRC5)
• Has a strong analytical and problem-solving capacity
• Has experience with automated production lines and PLC-controlled machines  Certified according to BA4 BA5 (nice to have)
• Takes initiative and shows the will to grow and expand knowledge
• Has a passion for the latest technological developments
• Is willing to work in a 2-shift system or permanent night shift
• Is willing to learn Dutch. The client provides lessons in the company.
