Infosys is seeking an Automation Test Lead with Java and selenium experience.
As a QA Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Weehawken, NJ. This position may require 0% travel.
- At least 4 years of working experience in QA Testing
- Strong Experience in C# and Oops concepts
- Strong Experience in Test Automation/Automation scripting on any of the automation tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Core banking domain
- Hands on in writing quality automation scripts and test cases
- Able to assist/write high level test strategies with input from the Dev Feature Lead and/or business and derives time estimates
- Able to leverage automated testing solutions within the team and projects
- Able to manage relationships with development and business stakeholders engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses, resourcing, risks
- Well versed with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Use case, Agile/Scrum).
- Ability to conduct POC demonstrate to stakeholders independently.
- Can write automation scripts in a mainstream OOP language such as Java, C# etc.
- At least 2 year of unit testing automation experience using Java/Selenium
- Experience with backend Database testing and Unix/SQL queries
- 2 yr of hands on experience in more than 1 CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, GitLab CI
- Working proficiency of REST and SOAP APIs using tools like postman, SOAP UI.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
