  • Position: Automation Technician
  • Location: Amphenol Ardent Concepts - Hampton, NH

Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR § 120.15 (U.S citizen or resident alien status and defined by 8 U.S.C 1101(a)(20)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Automation Technician is responsible for sustaining the operation of automated assembly machines in a safe and efficient manner. In addition to maintaining the automated assembly machines, this role also includes visual inspection, rework, and packing of finished product, as well as providing overall support functions applicable to production.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, measuring and preparing raw materials
  • Inspecting and testing completed part assemblies
  • Reworking/fixing completed part assemblies by hand
  • Basic automation machine operation, including; loading parts, running programs, basic machine preventative maintenance, and minor troubleshooting
  • Completing daily paperwork and production tracking forms
  • Maintain a cleanly work environment, including routine cleaning and housekeeping
  • Completing other tasks as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years applicable industry experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical assemblies. Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and prints.
  • General ability to use Microsoft office programs
  • Ability to use lab equipment, such as; microscopes, micrometers, electrical testers, and precision hand tools
  • Excellent vision and hand eye coordination
