The SSPP (Self Service Product and Platforms) is looking for an Automation Dev Engineer to help with testing their new features for the Billing Feature. They will be writing both manual and automated test cases/scripts and execute them in all phases of the software development life-cycle. They will manage and enforce detailed accessibility, analytics, and functional requirements while collaborating with Product, Design, and Development partners to ensure quality standards are met for all requirements across their feature team.

Description:

Automation and manual testing for the Spectrum Portals applications.

Utilize E2E testing stack (required): WebdriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Cucumber.

Preferred: Postman, Chrome Developer's Console, TestRails. We would need 2-3 years of experience on Manual/Automation testing on Web.

Qualifications: 1-3 years of manual testing experience, preferably doing Front-End (UI) testing in a Web Portal environment. 3-5 years of automation development experience using TypeScript/JavaScript, WebdriverIO and Cucumber. Maintains knowledge of front-end application systems. Experienced in the design, testing, debugging, and maintenance of front-end, web-based applications. The candidate will also provide feedback to and respond to peer reviews, as well as participate in all applicable agile ceremonies as defined by Charter.

Responsible for documenting and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality products. Involved in test planning, writing manual test cases/scripts and test execution. Responsible for analyzing manual test scenario results. Involved in projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. Involved in multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system.

Ensure alignment between business operational strategies and quality assurance of our products

Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution

Develop, modify, enhance and implement test plans designed to support new or existing business initiatives
