Associate Wealth Management Advisor
A growing financial firm with Northwestern Mutual desires to hire an associate wealth management advisor as the primary investment operations person for the team. Primary duties include maintaining investment onboarding workflow, processing client investment trades and facilitation of client service requests.
Specific Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Execute changes to model portfolios and trade them with Advisor input.
- Assist in evaluation of gains/losses of trades and portfolio model updates for non-qualified accounts.
- Service existing client account maintenance related to deposits, withdrawals, statements and tax records.
- Open new accounts.
- Work with clients to coordinate rollovers or account transfers.
- Preparation of analysis in support of Advisor periodic client meetings and reviews.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating client reviews.
- Assist in creating and maintaining customized client financial plans and analysis.
- Daily monitoring of accounts for account drift and other monitoring responsibilities.
- Respond to client needs, filter them and coordinate with advisors as needed.
- Document and case note activities related to client accounts.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years investment management experience (preferred)
- Life and Health license within 6 months.
- Series 6 and 63 licenses (required.
- Series 7 (optional)
- Experience/proficiency with NetX360 and Envestnet investment management software
- Experience with Ycharts and Morningstar
- Operate in an ethical manner and maintain client confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to see the bigger picture of what the advisor and client want to accomplish
- Ability to look beyond the obvious, to dig deeper, to learn why
- Work well on a team with tasks divided by specialties that must coordinate as one unit
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while tracking and completing all tasks
- Process oriented and willing to adapt as needed to optimize the organization’s processes
- Digital savvy. Experience with Microsoft Office products.
