We are looking for Associate Underwrites for our Workers Compensation Insurance product team based in Rocklin, CA.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Underwrite work comp renewals with full carrier authority.
  • Process renewals with all of our carrier partners
  • Review & process broker of record changes
  • Support Underwriters with various tasks
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding their policies and renewals.
  • Process endorsement requests and bind requests, as needed.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
  • At least 1 year of recent outstanding, office-based, customer service experience is required.
  • Experience with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Possess sensible judgement and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and the ability to call clients with confidence.
  • Strong attention to detail, is dependable and follows through on all items.
  • Ability to read and interpret fragmented information.
  • Required to have strong research skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and confidential situations.
  • Poise to deal with difficult situations when they arise.

Pay range is $19 to $25 per hour and will depend on several factors including geographical location, relevant experience, skills and knowledge pertaining to this role and industry.
