Description: This Associate Manager, Financial Management position will manage day-to-day activities for the production and development contracts in the rapidly expanding Advanced Threat Warning Systems (ATWS) program area. The ATWS program area is expected to bring significant growth to the S&GS LoB and as such this will be a high visibility position that will require the ability to respond and present to executive leadership. The selected candidate for this role will need to be able to work in a dynamic environment, bridging the gap between development efforts and low-rate initial production for multiple products (TacIRST, PDAS, VBK, Space Sensors). Additionally, the following technical assignments will be expected for this role:
  • Manage and oversee an expanding team of cost control analysts
  • Oversee and guide preparation of the OS&P monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and provide deliverables to FP&A
  • Support development and maintenance of the Long-Range Plan (LRP), 10-year sales outlook, and program area business cases
  • Establish and monitor program budgets, track, and reconcile costs, track program funding requirements, conduct cost analysis, and develop variance explanations with recommendations for corrective actions
  • Prepare quarterly estimates at complete (EACs)
  • Create quarterly CSR charts and present to leadership
  • Assist the program team and financial management in monitoring and tracking expenditures, highlight issues/concerns/trends to the program team, and ensure that program financial commitments are met
  • Interact with a variety of the ATWS program and financial management personnel and ensure conformance with company processes and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business-related degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and potential
  • MFC systems (EFS and SAP) and processes
  • Previous experience presenting quarterly Contract Status Reviews (CSR’s) to leadership
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
