Position Summary:
The Associate Director of Classroom Technology and Media Services is responsible for the day-to-day operations of classroom technology, event audiovisual needs, and media services in support of the Law School. Works closely with the Associate Dean for Library Services and Yeshiva University Academic Technology group to plan, implement, and oversee multi-year revision of the Law School's classroom technology. This position will oversee a small team of technicians and student workers as well as 18 media ready spaces in the Law School.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs classroom and media equipment including projection systems, microphones, mixers, computers, and external components.
- Plans, implements, and oversee a multi-year revision of classroom technology.
- Researches and advises on educational technologies, including software and hardware, necessary for instruction in the physical and virtual classroom.
- Assists and trains law school faculty and students on the use of classroom technology.
- Supervises, schedules, and trains a small team of media specialists and student workers.
- Maintains an understanding of relevant privacy laws and policies in an education setting in relation to educational technology and the user and availability of recordings.
- Supports the Special Events department with all audiovisual and media services needs for events sponsored by law school departments and student groups.
- Sets up audiovisual, classroom, and media technology, including projection systems, microphones, mixers, computers, and external components streaming via Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings, and classroom recordings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of the Law Library.
- Makes independent decisions about workflow for the educational technology teams including technicians and student workers to ensure maximum coverage for the Law School's needs. Consults with the Associate Dean for Library Services about priorities, overall direction, and specific projects beyond day-to-day responsibilities.
- Communicates frequently with faculty, students, Special Events, Communications, Information Technology Services (ITS), and Yeshiva Academic Technology.
Experience & Educational Background:
Required qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least 1 year of management experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with educational technology.
- At least 1 year of audio/video editing.
- At least 1 year of supporting live-streaming of events.

Salary Range:
$80,000-$85,000
