As an Associate Director of Government Pricing & Compliance, supporting Alcon's government pricing submissions, you will be trusted as a subject matter authority on strategy and execution of various contracts within the government space of the growing pharmaceutical business from our Fort Worth, Texas site.
In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Building out and developing the strategy for government pricing and compliance related to our growing Pharma portfolio.
  • Leading negotiations for governmental contracts and adherence of all contractual requirement.
  • Monitoring the company’s financial and compliance relationships with the various US government agencies that purchase Alcon products.
  • Ensuring that all required Alcon submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Formulating and implementing recommendations in key strategic and tactical areas which impact price calculation to support long- and short-term business goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 7 years confirmed experience, 5 years in a leadership role within related industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills to forecast government impact on business.
  • Technical expertise in Excel and data management tools used throughout the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact within all levels of the corporation.
