The Boeing Company’s Enterprise & Government Contracts organization is seeking an Associate Contract Management Specialist to join the Commercial Item Transfer at Price - Center of Excellence team in Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK or Tukwila, WA.
This role supports Government acquisitions that utilize commercial products/services. This includes acting as an independent compliance partner, processing transactions between defense and commercial units and educating stakeholders regarding commercially proposed products/services under Government acquisitions. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and influence contractual relationships between all Boeing Business Units, as well as partnerships with external customers/auditors.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as an independent corporate level compliance reviewer in support of Government acquisition activities that include products/service sold commercially, via Commercial Item Transfers at Price
Partner with Program Contracts to ensure timely and compliant submittals of proposal substantiation/determination documents to Government customers
Advocate for balanced solutions to acquisition activities which both protect enterprise business interests and ensure adherence to corporate policy, laws and regulation
Coordinate and support Defense and Commercial teams in research, drafting and review of commercial item determination and price reasonableness determination documentation
Summarize complex contractual issues, and lead development of creative solutions and process improvements
Guide Enterprise contracting best practices and pro forma for Commercial Item Transfers at Price
Represent the company in external meetings and communications to a diverse set of customers including Department of Defense (DoD) and auditors
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. This position currently requires one day a month onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
1+ years of experience working with acquisition policies, e.g., USG FAR/DFARS regulations
1+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
Experience negotiating complex acquisitions (incl. terms and conditions, pricing, schedule, etc.)
Focus on building strong customer partnerships
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $62,900 - $97,750
