• 1-3 years experience Providing legal support and guidance of prior traffic and criminal defense with a genuine passion for defending the accused from cradle-to-grave.

o Note: The Firm may consider offering on-the-job training for the right inexperienced but newly-barred associate attorney applicant. You must be actively licensed to practice law in Virginia – no exceptions.

• Advising clients on the best behavior while charges are pending, including confiding in family/friends and use of social media.
• Meeting with clients to discuss the pending charges and strategize on how best to defend their rights in an ethical and zealous manner.
• Communicating with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs to help provide them with essential pieces of advice to help them make an informed decision.
• Strategizing on how to resolve the clients’ cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner while maintaining ethics and honesty.
• Answering clients' questions about legal options to help them understand the possible outcomes, including pros and cons of each route.
• Developing sound legal arguments and representing client’s traffic/criminal proceedings in State Court.
• Building rapport and ongoing trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Must be an independent worker as this Firm operates in a team environment within a family-like setting.
• Must be able to handle an ongoing caseload and stay on top of your cases.
