GREENBUSH IS HIRING AN ASSISTANT TERMINAL MANAGER IN COLUMBUS, TX!

The Assistant Terminal Manager's primary responsibility will be to assist the Terminal Manager managing the day to day transportation needs for the Columbus, TX area terminal. This position helps set the tone of the terminal operation by leading both office and driver personnel and managing the effective performance of all. In addition, this position will ensure the day-to-day management of safety and maintenance objectives.

Primary Duties:

• Assist Terminal Manager in supervising terminal operations
• Work with Corporate Safety to support achieving goals & objectives related to regulatory compliance, safety awareness, and enforcement of fleet safety program
• Track MPG and Idle results by driver, and create reports with results monthly
• Responsible for participating in establishing outbound rate, negotiating rates with outside carriers

Requirements:

• Skills and knowledge normally gained in a program equivalent to a 4 year degree or 2-3 years of transportation experience
• Basically computer skills and the ability to type 35 wpm.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret applicable regulations and procedures
• Ability to write reports and business correspondences
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
