Assistant Managers are responsible for directing the daily operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. We are looking for leaders who take pride in their work and know that success is achieved through role modeling behaviors and coaching and recognizing their team.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads team members and directs all operations of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, including supervising and training employees, opening and closing the restaurant, ensuring all food preparation is complete, managing breaks and shift changes, delegating tasks to team members and supervising their performance as well as other required or assigned duties
- Works as a team player to support other employees in completing their tasks
- Maintains fast, accurate and outstanding service, ensures an excellent guest experience, and makes sure all products are consistent and prepared and served with company standards
- Ensures that all product holding times are strictly observed
- Assigns job duties/tasks to team members and ensures successful completion of all assigned tasks
- Balance cash registers at the end of the shift and completes required reports
- Ensures compliance to established cash handling and security processes
- Keeps supervisor informed of work issues
- Offers help without being asked in all areas of the restaurant
- Supports Company Values, Goals, and Standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
- Access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver’s license
- Open scheduled availability
- Experience leading a team; during your shift you will direct 3 to 30 team members
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment preferred
- You have to be at least 18 years of age
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
