Environwaste Services Group is hiring an Assistant Operations Manager in Atlanta, GA.

The Assistant Operations Manager is a critical role and is essential to the success of a location. The AOM will assist the Operations Manager in ensuring accountability for the market; including but not limited to, staff management, production oversight, project management, fleet coordination, sales oversight, and safety and environmental compliance. The Assistant Operations Manager will report to the respective Market Operations Manager and is the 2nd most senior most-personnel at the location.

Envirowaste Services Group (EWSG,) a member of the Trivest portfolio of companies, provides cleaning, inspection, maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of storm and wastewater systems for municipalities and private clients throughout the Southeast U.S. EWSG’s wide range of services including sewer and drain cleaning, CCTV, manhole rehabilitation, trenchless and open cut point repairs, pond cleaning and sediment removal, WWTP tank cleaning services, CIPP installation, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the location is meeting all productivity goals.
  • Produce and monitor production schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Conduct crew labor analysis to ensure cost-effective, yet operationally sound and efficient performance.
• Coach, mentor, and hold the team accountable.
  • Providing leadership to the team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
• Ensure all equipment, including fleet, is being maintained and managed correctly.
  • Conduct regular fleet status review with mechanics and Fleet Director to ensure fleet availability is maintained.
• Ensure the organization is meeting all safety, compliance, and environmental standards.
• Oversee all project management and sales-related activities.
  • Lead price and proposal preparation in coordination with the sales team, while ensuring project profitability

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the storm and wastewater industry or related industry
• An understanding and experience with municipal procurement and bid process
• A history of working in a fast-growth, hands-on environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• A willingness to roll up their sleeves and be hands-on
• A collaborative nature, with a focus on teamwork and openness to feedback
• An ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment
