Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is looking for a managerial candidate to assist the General Manager in operation of the club. Golf experience is a must and food and beverage experience would be a plus.

Assists G.M. with numerous activities relating to the management and operation the club's golf program.

Job Tasks

• Promote Summerfield Crossings Golf Club and the Game of Golf
• Total knowledge of Club membership programs.
• Promote Club programs to new and returning customers.
• Assists golf professional in Golf instruction, golf operations, merchandising, on-course, cart and outside personnel management responsibilities.
• Work alongside the Director of Golf to properly execute each tournament on the Annual calendar. Be the primary person responsible for the tournament software and executing our annual tournament calendar
• Help maintain pro shop inventory and monthly inventory levels.
• Assists members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations.
• Work alongside Golf Shop and Cart Attendants to properly run the daily golf operations.
• Assists members in posting scores and general handicap maintenance.
• Manages daily opening & closing of golf operations visible during peak times.
• Assists in training, supervising, scheduling and evaluation of cart attendants.
• Assists in the coordination of tournaments and special events.
• Provides golf instruction as best to avoid scheduled Golf Shop times when no other Golf Shop attendants are available.
• Performs starter or marshal duties as needed.
• Assists in maintaining appearance of pro shop.
• Ensures course is properly marked for regular and tournament play.
• Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the General Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Golf Shop: 2 years (Required)
