About the role:

The Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for assisting the Community Manager with the day-to-day operations of the assigned property, as well as leasing units and maintaining positive relationships with residents. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a burning desire to make a real difference in people’s lives and a commitment to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our residents. • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
• Conduct leasing tours and follow-up with leads to convert them into residents
• Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and processing move-in/move-out paperwork
• Manage resident accounts, including collecting rent and other fees, and responding to resident inquiries
• Assist with marketing efforts to attract new residents and retain existing ones
• Enforce lease agreements and community policies in compliance with Fair Housing laws
• Assist with maintenance requests and work orders
• Maintain accurate resident records and ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Requires the ability to read, speak and understand work instructions and safety notices in English
