JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Branch Manager is accountable for the daily operations of the branch to ensure accurate and timely workflow for projects and activities of the branch. This position is responsible for executing work activities in accordance with policy, process and directive ensuring the growth of the branch with a focus on operational, administrative, and service activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Ensure adherence to office procedures and the provision of quality service to customers and employees.

· Maintain temporary employee, customer and workers compensation files.

· Ensure compliance with Notice of Commencements and Notice of Non-Payments and other required reporting.

· Manage accounts receivables ensuring accurate billing and timely invoicing and collection of payments.

· Coordinate the completion of administrative work within the branch required to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal laws and guidelines, including but not limited to Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, Human Resources, Legal, WOTC

· Administer effective recruiting approaches to ensure the availability of qualified temporary/full time employees to meet current and anticipated demand.

· Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful ongoing business and to promote client and associate retention through exemplary customer service

· Implement, monitor and comply with company programs & initiatives.

· Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all branch activities

· Participate in local professional, business and civic organizations to network and promote the company brand

· Administer training of internal staff positions

· Operate in in the absence of the Branch Manager ensuring receipt of training and continuous learning according to established company guidelines

· Manage Petty Cash, safety equipment and training logs.

· Runs branch errands.

· All other duties assigned.

EDUCATION

· Associate’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be acceptable

EXPERIENCE

· Five (5) years of related work experience with at least three years in a sales/profit center management capacity with proven history of success increasing revenue and profit

· Three (3) years successful managerial/leadership experience hiring, training, motivating, and retaining employees

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

· Strong office, customer service, organizational and communication skills

· Demonstrated understanding of the corporate environment

· Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness through change

· Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary.

Position requires candidates have own transportation with current/valid automobile insurance and a valid driver's license for the state in which he/she resides.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
