Assembler/Blaster

Perform a wide range of finishing duties using blast equipment as specified. Must be able to blast with all media. Work from oral and published job instructions and specification.

Detect unusual conditions or specific problems and report to proper supervision. Observe good housekeeping practices and follow prescribed safety precautions.

Duties may include handling of hazardous materials and managing hazardous wastes in accordance with SWECO’s policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to knuckles level on an occasional basis
• Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to waist level on an occasional basis
• Lift at least 25 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis, and
• Carry at least 50 lbs for a minimum distance of 100 feet on an occasional basis

Training and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
