**IMMEDIATE START**

We are looking for an experienced & professional Maryland Armed Security Officer to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, detain, observe and report. You must have your own registered weapon to use.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safety and protection of company staff and customers by ensuring a safe and secure environment through your presence
• Report any theft to management or loss prevention, your main mission is to ensure the safety and protection of staff and customers
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Monitor and control access at building entrances

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Licensed Armed Security Officer
• Current Licensed MD Armed Security Officer only
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school diploma
• Prior Military / Law Enforcement a must

Colorado Security Agencys Armed Security Officers main mission is the protection and safety of staff and customers.

We are to inform store management or loss prevention if we witness any sort of theft. We are to be at the right shoulder of store management and loss prevention as they approach any suspect of suspicion of theft, we are to intervene if store staff, loss prevention or customers are in danger. Our scope of work is solely inside the store only so we have the added layer of security from the cameras above to support our case if an incident occurs.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• On call
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Timonium, MD 21093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Leadership: 4 years (Required)
• Military: 4 years (Preferred)
• Customer service: 8 years (Required)
• Armed Security Officer: 8 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Armed Security Officer License (Required)
