We have an opening for a full-time Armed Security Officer at a State of Maryland office in PG Maryland ( New Carrollton ) You must have valid MD permit to carry to be considered.

Must be available between the hours of 1400 to 22:15 ( 2:00pm to 10:15pm Monday to Friday, No weekends or holidays.

Duties may include the following:

• Monitor front desk reviewing/issuing badges and verifying visitors sign in/out
• Monitor CCTV
• Check for unlocked doors, loitering, fire and water damage, etc.
• Execute services as outlined in post orders and as directed by Supervisor
• Write detailed reports to include: Activity Log and Incident Reports
• Enforce policies and procedures of facility and respond to emergency situations

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• MD Guard Certification and MD Permit-To-Carry(must have valid MD permit to carry)
• At least one year of Armed Security experience
• Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
• Strong work ethic (reliable, trustworthy, dedicated)
• Stable verifiable work history and a clean criminal background check
• At least 21 years of age, HS Diploma or GED
