Role Overview:
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of Tri-Sure customers across Italy, the Mediterranean Region, the Middle East and Northern Africa. In this role you will be responsible for sales, contribution margin and accounts receivables for your territory. Our Area Sales Managers lead negotiations with customers, find compromises between corporate and customer objectives and embrace the vision to become the world’s best performing customer service company.

Typical Accountabilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing your market in close cooperation with the global/regional Sales & Marketing Director
- Defining and implementing customer action plans for both existing accounts and with a view to developing opportunities with new customers
- Defining objectives with all Business Unit stakeholders
- Leading contract negotiations and closing deals
- Optimizing customer portfolio and product mix with a profitability focus
- Collecting and maintaining relevant customer and competitor information with a view to communicating it systematically within Greif organization
- Coordinating and ensuring the resolution of customer complaints in conjunction with regional / plant QA and Operations personnel
- Tracking performance by customer, region, and product line, and reporting information accurately on a monthly basis
- Managing accounts receivables overdue balances towards the company target
Requirements:
- Proven demonstrable track record in successful sales/key account management in a B2B sales environment
- Ideally background in Plastic producing packaging industry
- Experience of international sales and multi-cultural environments
- Should have experience of working autonomously and working across a matrix organization
- Experience and success in working independently, defining priorities and arranging your own agenda
- Computer literate and able to use word, excel and power point
- Italian and English - professional fluency in verbal and written communications required, other language skills a plus
- Able to travel is an essential requirement
