Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn

Good technical computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CAD

Candidate shall possess at least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in an architectural firm

Candidate for this position should have a background in architecture, engineering, building forensics, interior design, or construction management

Candidates that do not possess a degree but have solid building and construction knowledge gained through work experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

Perform specific project tasks adhering to deadlines and within budget, as directed by a Project Manager

Conduct project research as applicable for the appropriate scope of work (historical, regulatory, etc.)

Data compilation and organization, contributing to written reports and assessment findings

Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the project team and management

Coordinate various efforts in support of projects from initiation through close-out

Understand concepts of building component life cycles, building system condition evaluation, replacement costs, and maintainable/sustainable responses

Physical fitness to navigate stairs, sites, and building interiors

Willingness to travel to project and client locations when necessary (a valid driver’s license is required)
