Job Summary

Growing manufacturer of commercial equipment is seeking motivated candidates for a sheet metal/CNC fabrication apprentice position.Candidates must be self-driven, able to plan their own work, and be willing to learn. Candidates will be part of a team responsible for building, testing, and quality checking commercial products. Stable employment history required. We provide paid, on the job training.

***2-3 years experience in CNC sheet metal fabrication highly preferred***

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cut, Punch, Form, Deburr Sheet Metal Parts
• Assist with making parts on laser processing machine
• Stamp parts using press
• Assist in fabrication department wherever needed
• Perform general assembly tasks
• Be ready to assist other team members in all areas of production
• Use personal protective safety equipment at all times

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience working with hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and hammers
• Ability to verbally communicate and read basic English
• Ability to plan work and think ahead
• Willingness to learn new skills

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
