Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects and contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas. Provide technical oversight across systems and applications and develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations. Influence the applications development area through monitoring delivery of end results, participating in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards by negotiating with external parties when necessary. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, and ensuring accountability. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Developing and maintaining enterprise level applications using Java, J2EE and Oracle; Utilizing full Software Development Lifecycle to design, develop, and test high-quality software; Project management utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Utilizing database systems including RDBMS (Oracle) and Information Architecture concepts related to modeling, ETL, PL-SQL programming and data governance; Resolving high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process including performing detailed analysis, collecting requirements, coding and unit testing, integration, and system testing; and Creating high level business architecture that accelerates solution designs, improves quality of applications, drives data quality and interoperability, and ensures maximum utilization of services and systems. 40 hrs./wk.
