Overview: Fusion Medical Staffing is searching for a talented software development manager who is interested in getting in on the ground floor of our expansion into custom application development.

Essential Functions
Serve
- Adhere and uphold Fusion’s core values.
- Provide career coaching and guidance for developers
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards of customer service
- Balance competing priorities to ensure Fusion effectivelyship new features while resolving
defects and managing technical debt. - Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate high performing engineers across multiple teams
Innovate
- Understand the concepts of development, agile, QA, and DevOps and assist in the organization
and execution of all. - Drive software development standards, architecture, and delivery automation.
- Continue to research development technologies, strategies, and drive efficiency
- Introduce, run, tweak, and optimize team project management process
Communicate
- Manage relationships with developers, business owners, and scrum team.
- Work closely with non-technical team members toward a solution.
- Proactively seek to listen and find alignment with other engineering teams and stakeholders by
understanding your teams' technology, building strong relationships, and insisting on highquality solutions that solve multiple strategic challenges at once
Lead by Example
- Contribute to design of overall data architecture.
- Contribute to design of overall web architecture.
- Partner with Product Management to ensure your teams have clear tactical and strategic
backlogs

Work Environment
This job operates as a hybrid position in an office and/or remote environment and routinely uses
standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected hours worked
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years experience in software development and testing
- Experience with Development Methodologies-Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Iterative
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Preferred Education and Experience
- 5+ years experience in a management role with direct reports
- Experience in Azure or other cloud services
- Experience in C#, JavaScript, SQL
- Previous management, Team Lead or architect experience
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development
