What to Expect:*
As an Analyst you will be responsible for creating new models and controls for decision makers at UGE, analyzing UGE capital projects, and support the planning and operational controls analysts with ad-hoc support during peak periods. As well as consolidating monthly reporting for internal and external parties on UGE financial performance. Excellent problem solving and communication skills will be required as UGE projects touch multiple departments within UGE, our parent company United Airlines, and across numerous external partners and vendors.

How you will make an impact:

Development of financial models and work closely with the UGE business development group on bids for the continued growth of UGE
Process improvement and development of finance communication and training tools
Reporting to internal and external parties on UGE financial performance
P&L consolidation and variance research
Analysis and expansion of plan and forecast reporting
Capital planning and analysis of new capital projects
Ad Hoc Projects and one-off scenario analysis

What will you bring:*
Knowledge/Skills

Bachelors’ in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related degree) or equivalent experience in a financial analysis role; MBA preferred
Minimum 1 years of analytical work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility
Minimum of 1 year Hyperion Planning and Oracle Financial Systems Experience
Strong business acumen
Knowledge of accounting and financial statements
Passion for data, analysis, and providing solutions to complex problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical, planning problem solving, and consensus building skills
Can manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables against deadlines
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

ADA Specifications

Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
