KTS is looking for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic to work out of the New River MCAS.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate interpretation of technical data and installation of structures modification on the V22 aircraft.
• In depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures technical directives, maintenance manuals.
• Accurately interpret OEM and customer drawings.
• Executes tasks as directed by Site Supervisor to meet project objectives.
• Ability meet specified project timelines while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Adhere to all Company and Government regulations in regards to housekeeping, safety and security of all program required equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Naval aviation structural maintenance and repair.
• Must be willing to travel: Average travel in a year is 2 weeks to 1 month at a time.
• Must have experience in composite maintenance and repair to include proficiency with all required tools.
• Thorough understanding of COMNAVFORINST 4790 requirements.
• Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires a US Citizenship.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements to include picking up a minimum of 50 pounds from the ground to a vehicle or aircraft.
• Must be able to work with required materials requiring personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication skills.
