We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Air Compressor Technician to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. As a Permanent Air Compressor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing air compressors and compressed air systems. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that our equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on air compressors and compressed air systems
- Troubleshoot and repair air compressors and compressed air systems
- Install and commission new air compressors and compressed air systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and repair equipment in a timely manner
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Provide technical support to other departments as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing air compressors and compressed air systems
- Strong knowledge of air compressor systems and their components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for industrial equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or associate degree preferred.
