FITTLE offers innovative business financial solution to help businesses adapt and grow. Formerly known as Xerox Financial Solutions (XFS), FITTLE works with organizations of all sizes to provide financing for a range of offerings including IT Services, Software, audio visual and security hardware, 3D Printing equipment and other office equipment. Programs include bundled support and maintenance, multi-brand servicing and partner solutions. FITTLE is the primary equipment lease provider for Xerox Business Solutions (XBS) and has broadened its portfolio of assets financed to include numerous growth opportunities outside of Xerox equipment and services, such as the expansion of its dealer relationships, financing a wider breadth of products and building relationships with new vendors.
The Role:
The Agile Solutions Director for the Back-End Pod is responsible for leading agile software development / configuration teams and managing the backlog of FITTLE business requirements for a group of business applications. This role serves as a key interface between business functional leaders, peer IT leaders, SaaS providers, and other vendors to ensure effective collaboration and communication. The Agile Solutions Director is expected to possess strong project management, leadership, and technical skills to drive projects to successful completion while maintaining high-quality standards. The Back-End Pod scope includes solutions for originations, lease accounting, contract lifecycle management, finance, and tax. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly balance technical expertise with strong leadership abilities to drive results and exceed expectations.
Scope:
Specific:
- Lead and manage agile software development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Oversee the backlog of business requirements, ensuring that priority features and enhancements are effectively communicated and delivered by the development teams.
- Collaborate with business functional leaders or product owners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements for the development teams.
- Define and maintain roadmaps for new technical capabilities, aligning with the strategic goals and priorities of the FITTLE business.
- Orchestrate technology change and capability enablement through structured release planning.
- Interface with SaaS providers, IT support vendors, and other external partners to ensure seamless integration, monitor system performance, manage incidents, and maintain service level performance.
- Manage relationships with outsourced support vendors, ensuring that the organization maintains key in-house skills to effectively collaborate and augment the services provided by the outsourcing company.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Monitor and track team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve overall productivity and effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and best practices, facilitating an agile cadence that includes sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Act as a point of escalation for any issues or concerns related to the development teams, support teams, projects, or stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of project or performance within SLAs.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on project progress and any relevant changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and/or package configuration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Proven experience in managing teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with various project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, vendor management, and IT support processes is a plus, including Oracle NetSuite, DocuSign, Solifi, and Vertex
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Product Owner, are preferred.
- Experience working in financial services is a plus.
Location: Virtual, on Eastern Time or willing to work on an ET zone schedule.
