Noah's Ark Christian Preschool in American Canyon, CA is currently seeking a Qualified Preschool Teacher for the afternoon shift and morning subbing when needed. This position is part-time with the potential for increased hours depending on enrollment.

TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and implements classroom lessons and schedule.
• Assists children with meal times and clean-up.
• Ensures that the classroom is in good working order and is kept neat.
• Completes all classroom paperwork: for example, student accident reports, attendance reports.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, school events, and parent meetings, as requested.
• Ensures that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
• Supervises children during all activities.

TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS

• Must meet state requirements for position. Minimum of 6 CORE Early Childhood Education (ECE/CFS) Units while enrolled to complete 12 units.
• One-year of teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
• Candidate must pass a medical exam/physical and have a clear background check to qualify for employment.
• Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.
