Role: Aftermarket Procurement Specialist
The Procurement Specialist will lead coordination and follow-up with customers and vendors to ensure the smooth execution of the order entry process. They will claim and process new orders sent through the Aftermarket team email and complete them promptly to meet customer expectations. They will spend time following up for on-time equipment delivery scheduling from manufacturer to job site. The Procurement Specialist will maintain consistent communication with the customer, provide order status updates, and relay any delivery changes. They will be responsible for gathering and preparing documents like delivery schedules, tracking late and early delivery per quoted lead times, and purchasing terms and conditions from suppliers for their supervisor to review. They will also be one of the supplier’s main points of contact and will answer any questions or address the supplier’s concerns. Both customer and vendor relationships will be necessary for this role. Setting upfront expectations with customers regarding order timelines will be crucial in maintaining high customer satisfaction. This position will coordinate closely with the Aftermarket quoting team to collaborate and ensure proper conversion of quotes to orders. The Procurement Specialist must communicate cross-departmentally to ensure the appropriate execution and scheduling of jobs.
Essential Functions
· Works with the Aftermarket team in a fast-paced environment to claim and process new orders within a specified timeframe
· Comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems to assist customers with ease (CRM especially)
· Maintain the Global Shop dashboard of open orders by sending vendor follow-ups and reporting any order delays or changes to customers promptly
· Follow up and manage delivery timeline with the vendor of equipment or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
· Manage deliveries and expectations with vendors to align to meet quoted timeline
· Maintain business supply needs and ensure the business is getting the best possible material per order specification
· Manage inventory and order supplies and materials as needed
· Resolve pricing conflicts and place bids with different vendors as required; continue to review pricing consistencies within contracts
· Report on daily and weekly delivery changes; immediate delays should be reported on
· Follow up on all deliveries with the vendor is critical
Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum age requirement 18+
· 2+ years of procurement experience desired
· Experience with an ERP system preferred (SAP, Global Shop, etc.)
· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Ability to manage complex orders and multi-task
· Ability to think critically and problem solve
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
· Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays, and weekends

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
