Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AEGIS Weapon System Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to you will be part a Talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

You’ll be surrounded by teammates who are part of Dominating the All-Domain Battlespace. The Engineers on our team are not limited to the status quo. Our team is always looking for better ways to do things— BIG things, little things, anything, and everything. We always ask the question, “How can we improve this?”

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Direct support MDA Aegis program office in the integration and development of software baselines for the Aegis Weapons System.

  • Streamline the integration process to support schedule, cost, risk reduction.

  • Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification through onsite test observation and inspection.

  • Provide Data management and Configuration Management.

  • Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in Working Groups as needed.

  • Provide integration and validation support of integrated systems.

  • Program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management

  • Support all elements of the systems engineering V

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Secret Clearance and ability to maintain one

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 3+ years of experience

  • Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks

  • Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems

  • Familiarity with Aegis Weapon Systems


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems

  • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering

  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

Salary Range:

$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
