Description:-Aegis Officer Operator instruction and curriculum development: This individual will join a multi-instructor and developer workforce providing curriculum and course instruction for Aegis and BMD training for our U.S. and International Program customers.

• Develop innovative training solutions and recommendations to support emerging training requirements, provide technical liaison between OEM, product development teams and internal and external customers, support technical meetings, develop specialized briefs, and present training materials for Aegis and BMD customers.

-Domestic and Foreign travel is possible- Primary work location is Dahlgren, VA.
Basic Qualifications:

• Experienced in the employment of the Aegis Combat System in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) environments.
• Specialized experience related to and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Aegis Capabilities & Limitations and Combat Systems Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP)

Desired Skills:

• Integrated Air and Missile Defense Weapons and Tactics Instructor (IAMD WTI)
• Tactical Action Officer (TAO)
• Anti-Air Warfare Coordinator (AAWC)
• Master Training Specialist (MTS)
• Experience on the Aegis Combat System representing at least one shipboard tour and one training and instructional tour.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
