About the role

We are looking for an Advisor – Supply Chain Planning to provide support for S&OP planning processes, manages data and systems to achieve improvements in S&OP plan and coordinates across numerous stakeholders to drive progress and execution. This role will also assists in financial analysis, scheduling and backup for Value Chain team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Value Chain – you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities

Supply Chain Planning

  • Support Principal Advisor S&OP in developing 3-12 month plan. Analyze alternatives and trade offs within plan.
  • Work with S&OP advisors to convert plan into an executable schedule.
  • Help monitor, stock levels, packaging and general logistics performance of the Boron business
  • Assist in management of tolling producers.
  • Track progress against the budget

Systems/Data

  • Maintain Data in various Value Chain systems.
  • Analyze data to seek pathways to lower costs, reduce errors, or improve the efficiency of our planning process
  • Provide SAP administration for the Value Chain Team.
  • Manage Palantir, Excel and Anaplan reporting
  • Monitor dead or slow-moving stock and plan to reduce these

Value Chain Team Support

  • Provide backup for Principal Advisor S&OP and S&OP Advisors
  • Builds knowledge and expertise on product stewardship and packaging in conjunction with Specialist – Product Management
  • Issues STO’s to support movements of goods and materials between our sites and warehouses

What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a product management or commercial role in industrial minerals or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or industry-related field.
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Financial Analysis
  • Good communication abilities
  • Experienced in working across multiple stakeholders and delivering results across a matrix organisation
