Job description
Crystal Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Director who will manage the patient admissions process and maintain current referral relationships. This individual will also partake in community marketing events and serve as a customer service concierge to residents and family members.
DUTIES:
- Coordinating the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner
- Scheduling and providing resident/family tours
- Establishing & maintaining relationships with local hospitals, physicians & community organizations for the purpose of generating consistent admissions to the facility
- Understand the admissions process including policy, procedures, assessments & paperwork requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes
- Ensure that patient's stay at nursing center is positive from the onset by collaborating with the center's interdisciplinary team and network referral entities to coordinate a seamless, coordinated admissions process.
- Maintain a positive experience for patients throughout their stay at the center.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong assessment and organizational skills
- Ability to Multi-task and work under time constraints
- Proactive approach to intake management demonstrating leadership skills
- Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office
