JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the Microsoft O365 environment and performing technical tasks related to domains, security, email, users, and licenses. Administer and support Office 365, Azure, MS Teams, and Exchange policies. Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring. Manage and monitor Office 365 services including O365 tenant, cloud Office suite, One Drive, SharePoint, and Teams. Ensuring the overall health, stability, and accessibility of our MS cloud environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accountable for building, maintaining, administrating, documenting, and ensuring the health of all Microsoft Cloud Services in our environment. Provides support, coordinates resolution of MS cloud-based system issues between the assigned application support personnel and the Information Technology department.
  • Communicate appropriately with end users to understand their needs. Proceeds with appropriate actions that include requirement documentation, design, and project management.
  • Evaluate needs and deliver solutions using OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint and other O365 collaboration.
  • Managing the Office 365 interface and performing technical tasks related to domains, security groups, users, and licenses. Administer and support Azure Active Directory and Exchange policies.
  • Administer the Exchange environment, responsible for maintaining the settings for user mailboxes and e-mail, including the settings required for connectivity with Outlook.
  • Teams and OneDrive Administrations, responsible for all configuration and support of Teams and OneDrive functionality to support the end user community.
  • Knowledge of Authorization & Authentication in Microsoft hybrid environment and experience with Azure AD including Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Successfully performs backup and recovery duties and establishes standards and schedules for cloud base backups.
  • Continually monitor the operational impact of systems, user acceptance, and compliance with department objectives. Revise and maintain documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Office 365 Platform, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Security & Compliance Center, Office, and OneDrive for Business.
  • Experience with PowerShell, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure, file transfer protocols, API’s and troubleshooting dataflows.
  • Familiar with application monitoring tools, reviewing log files, and be available on occasion for off hours emergency support for critical applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Office365 licensing, features, and policy.
  • PowerShell scripting is a plus.
  • Knowledge base of Office 365 technical architecture and the inter dependencies with other enterprise services in O365/Azure technology stack.
  • Experience in developing technical solutions using O365 Suite of products.
  • Identity and Conditional Access design and implementation experience.
  • Experience with implementation/configuration of Office 365 messaging and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with on-premises Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Hybrid deployments.
  • Implementation of advanced functions of Office 365 Security and Compliance center, Microsoft.
  • Federation Integration with Office 365, Azure, and Identity Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, and 2+ years’ experience in a systems administrator role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
  • Experience managing Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Skype for Business Online.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • One or more of the following certifications preferred: MS-O365, MS-Azure

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, clients or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
