This position will support and have oversight of administrative activities in support of our RMS Rhode Island sites. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative duties and other office management tasks, to include:
Selected candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistant support to our Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) office located in Rhode Island. Chosen candidate would be required and responsible for coordination for internal VIP events, external customer events and team all hands events when appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should possess at least 3 years of high
level of administrative assistant experience
including calendar management, independent
decision making, proactive responses to tasks
and projects and excellent interpersonal skills
including effective communication skills.
Advanced level experience required with
Microsoft Office Suite, particularly focused on
Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Familiarity/proficiency with Skype and ZOOM,
SharePoint and Concur experience a plus.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Calendar management. Ensure senior managers are updated and accurate. Proactively manage and deconflict schedules for smooth workflow.
- Provide prompt follow-up to meeting requests and correspondence.
- Respond quickly to changes to meetings and logistics, effectively to all parties.
- Work closely with administrative staff for partnering companies for onboarding, meeting space, IT equipment, badging, etc.
- Prepare meeting materials for leadership team in advance of meetings.
- Some travel planning and expense reporting required.
- Prepare, edit and proof correspondence, presentations and reports utilizing MS Office suite.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of projects and assignments as necessary.
- Meeting and special event planning onsite and offsite.
- Performs additional special assignments, as required, in support of site goals and milestones including but not limited to, Shipping and Receiving needs, IT coordination, Facilities & Space requirements, security actions, etc.
