As an Administrative Assistant within the Integrated Systems portfolio, you will support engineering execution Directors and Senior Leaders on classified programs with general administrative duties and tasks associated with the daily operations. You will support a team across three sites: Palmdale, CA; Fort Worth, TX; and Marietta, GA. This position requires working full-time onsite to support classified programs and is located in Palmdale, CA.

The selected candidate will need to be a self-starter with strong initiative and proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short/firm deadlines that align to company deliverables. Also requires the ability to work courteously and tactfully with visitors, callers, and company personnel.

Other responsibilities include standard administrative duties (coordinate dynamic daily schedule, maintain calendar, prepare documents, file, etc. setup and support a variety of meetings). Must have solid skill set of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel software applications.

Proficiency in travel and expensing applications is desired.

An excellent candidate will have proven ability to proactively plan and prioritize administrative requirements and will strive to anticipate needs in order to best manage the office.

Occasional support with customer relations and interfacing including customer visits and meetings, setup of meetings (including refreshment as necessary), and coordination of visit requests with Lockheed Martin Security. Manage conference rooms (including reservations, Skype, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Zoom, other IT as necessary).

Order/Maintain Office supply Inventory, organize shipping, mail and deliveries as well as general upkeep and maintenance coordination of work area.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with data management such as travel and expense reporting, managing emails, calendars, and schedules.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Concur.

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant for mid-level position.

  • Proven system of follow-up and action closure.

  • Excellent written/verbal skills.

  • Successful candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment.

  • The successful candidate will be able to determine priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects or initiatives as needed, including providing support to the department staff.

  • Candidate must have willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibilities and have a strong desire for professional continued self-improvement.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $56,500 - $102,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
