Job description
This position is primarily responsible for providing support on a broad range of human resources activities and projects. Routinely use HRIS system to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. Provide administrative support in areas such as hiring and onboarding of staff, and communicating company policies and practices. This role will also provide assistance with hiring and all pre-employment requirements are completed, monitored, and documented in a timely manner. Additionally, this role will work in collaboration with Talent Acquisition to support with various aspects of recruiting by performing the following duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for processing of employee files/records within HRIS system throughout the employee lifecycle including but not limited to new hire processing with setting up of personnel files and records retention.
2. Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility for specified licensing, according to established guidelines and designated licensing codes.
3. Oversee paperwork required to onboard Home Health Aids (HHAs) for new client assignments.
4. Process new hires and employee status changes in HRIS system (HHAeXchange).
5. Will serve as backup for training newly hired Home Health Aids on use of HHAeXchange Mobile App.
6. Accurately create and manage new employee personnel files.
7. Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team.
8. Complete, verify, and maintain Form I-9 documentation and files.
9. Assist with processing of terminations.
10. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
11. Assist with determining employee in-services (training) and liaise with internal resources to oversee its delivery and completion.
12. Support with registering and preparation of materials for school visits, career fairs and other diversity events.
13. Serve as back up for Learn and Work program.
