Essential Functions
- ● Support and assist the Head of School in the administration of his/her duties that may include written correspondence, editing, proofing, filing, and photocopying, emailing and other generally accepted office duties.
- ● Provide support as needed to other office staff.
- ● Actively participate, update, contribute to the school improvement plan.
- ● Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information where judgment and discretionare essential.
- ● Conduct effective communication with students, parents/guardians, staff and the public, inperson and via electronic communication devices.
- ● Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, take messages, or schedule appointments forthe Head of School or re-direct to the appropriate person.
- ● Schedule appointments and meetings for the Head of School, and provide direction usingindependent judgment to determine priorities.
- ● Keep the Head of School on schedule.
- ● Record minutes in administrative and departmental meetings.
- ● Assist in the management of the accreditation preparation process.
- ● Maintain the ACSI annual reports including the listing of the faculty certifications.
- ● Assist faculty with ACSI certification requirements.
- ● Assist administrative team in planning and execution of major school events such as the annualadministrators retreat, and staff development.
- ● Type correspondence materials when requested.
- ● Order and inventory all general office supplies.
- ● Keep the office area appearance well maintained.
- ● Maintain and operate a variety of office equipment.
- ● Serve as a back for the Business Office Administrative Assistant, including lunch coverage.
- ● Satisfactory attendance and punctuality are conditions of employment.
- ● Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School.Spiritual Leadership
- ● Believe and actively adhere to the Academy’s Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.
- ● Demonstrate a desire for spiritual growth as evidenced by his or her prayer life, Bible study, andspiritual outreach to others.
- ● Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in dealing with people.
- ● Actively participate in a local Bible-believing church.
- ● Uphold Biblical principles and maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in allpersonal and professional matters.
- ● Ensure that the campus work environment is Christian-based, nurturing, loving, and wholesome.

Education and Experience
- ● College degree preferred.
- ● At least 3 years of previous administrative experience or related field (previous experience ineducation or ministry is a plus).Skills and Qualifications
- ● Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships and effective communication with all constituents.
- ● Must have a high level of discernment and wisdom, and the ability to manage confidential information.
- ● Ability to carry out oral and written directions, speak, read and write at a level sufficient to fulfill duties to be performed.
- ● Ability to plan, set priorities and implement accurate work in a disciplined manner to keep multiple projects progressing to completion simultaneously with minimal direction.
- ● Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the Head of School’s and Board’s expectations and established school policies and procedures.
- ● Ability to interpret school policies and regulations and apply them with good judgment in a variety of procedural matters.
- ● Demonstrate excellent editing competency and proficiency with Microsoft Office, RenWeb, Formstack, Survey Monkey, and Google applications.
- ● Possess excellent technology skills and the ability to adapt to new technology.
- ● Ability to type 60 wpm.
- ● Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- ● Knowledge of office methods and practices including filing, receptionist and telephonetechniques, letter and report writing.Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- ● Regularly sit, talk, hear and visually intercept visitors.
- ● Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- ● Regularly use close and distance vision.
- ● Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
- ● Maintain professional appearance (as outlined in the Employee Handbook).
