• Position: Administrative Assistant

• Position Type: Long-term, evaluation hire
• Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
• Pay: $17.00/hr
• Days: Monday – Friday

A well-established legal firm in Decatur, IL has a need for an Administrative Assistant. Previous legal experience is NOT required. This is a full-time, long-term, evaluation hire position.

Qualifications for Administrative Assistant

• Prior administrative experience
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Excellent typing and data entry skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
• Previous legal or paralegal experience is a plus

Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant

• Typing correspondence
• Proof reading documents
• Maintaining spreadsheets and databases
• Data entry
• Auditing and maintaining files
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports
• Using internet-based systems
