Hours – 8-5 PM PST (DURING TRAINING) - After training it can be: 8:5 PST, 6-3 PST. or 10-7 PST

Position Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for mailroom activities including the sorting and delivery of incoming mail, as well as the preparation and sending of outgoing mail. The Administrative Clerk will report to the Mailroom Operations Manager. In this role you will be responsible for adherence to timely turnaround requirements, tracking mailroom data, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- The Administrative Assistant will sort and document daily incoming mail and prepare documents for scanning.
- The Administrative Assistant will assist with printing, inserting, stamping, and mailing letters.
- The Administrative Assistant will assist with scanning images for claims and non-claims.
- The Administrative Assistant will operate office equipment such as computer, keyboard, mouse, ten key, telephone, headset, copy machine, scanner, and letter opening machine.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Data entry up to 5 hours per day.
- Lifting of folders and other objects weighing between 0 and 50 lbs.
- Sitting Time required: 20-30%
- Standing Time required: 60-75%, includes walking.
- Must be able to type at least 30 WPM.
Required Skills & Education:
- High School graduate/GED
- 1+ years of admin/clerical experience (DE, scanning, mailing)
- MS Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge are required.
