Job description
The Department of Teaching and Learning within the College of Education at the University of Iowa is seeking an adjunct instructor for the following 3-semester hour, 8-week, online course to be taught in the Fall 2023 semester:
- EDTL:5091:0EXW - LGBTQ Topics in Education
- This course examines the intersection of policy and practice with respect to queer identities at all levels of K12 education.
Job Functions
Instruction and student support for the 3-semester hour, online course will include the following responsibilities:
- Development of a course syllabus.
- Leading instruction for the course.
- Providing meeting time for students enrolled in the course.
- Managing the online course system (ICON) for the course.
Education Requirement
Master's degree in an education-related field.
Qualifications
Instructor must have completed an accredited Teacher Education Program in the United States and held a teaching license in the United States.
Required Experience
Instructor must have successfully completed a minimum of two years of teaching at the Elementary, Middle School, Junior High School or High School level in the United States.
